Without the need for glue, the wheels stand out as being some of the most interesting "hop-ups" available for the monster truck market.  With traditional wheels, a bead of CA glue is required to keep the tire fixed to the wheel.  That is no longer necessary with the Maximizer wheels.  They hold the tire firm in the lock using 8 high-quality metal screws that also look awesome.

The X-75 name comes from the .75 (or 3/4) inch positive offset, or width, they add to the stance of the truck.  This would not be possible without the use of durable materials and a strong design.  With a total of 1.5 inches of added width, the truck definitely "feels" more stable and that results in better driving, whether on a track or just bumming around.

Since the beadlock design requires multiple layers and many parts, the weight may be a consideration.  Adding that much un-sprung weight can be harmful to performance.  These wheels are not particularly light, but they are not as heavy as one would expect.  A typical metal wheel will weigh as much, and you still have to deal with the messy glue to keep the tire on.

Installation is simple and straight-forward, but requires a bit of time.  You may as well watch a TV show while doing it, because it doesn't take much effort or thought -- just time.

With the weight considered, and the benefits of the wider stance and lack of glue, the Maximizer beadlock X75's are some very serious wheels for those who just want to do it and forget it.  Definitely a great choice.
